animal spirits, wonderful boys at the tattoo shop

This summer I was in Brooklyn at this hip tattoo parlor, Three Kings. All the boys who were working were in their 20's, very pretty, very tattooed and very sweet. They were talking about this site:

where one can go daily to get some advice from that days spirit animal. They day I was in the ant was the animal. "We could really use some ant medicine around here," one cutie said.

I love these boys who seem to have been mothered well and who seem to respect women and have curiosity and reverence. Given my teenage-hood I always have my fists up when I come into male, hipster environments. I'm giving Three Kings a giant thumbs up.
