Seattle Zine Project

I'm always looking for something to be inspired by.

Seattle zine project:

"A program of Catholic Community Services, The Zine Project is an eight week prevocational creative writing program serving homeless youth ages 15-22. Ziners (Zine interns) get paid to make zines (pronounced zeen, short for magazine). Zines are personal publications consisting of original writing and artwork."

If I'm getting this right, this program is open to homeless youth. A kid can take this course and it is also considered a job or internship. If they come in for 8 weeks and work on a great personal zine they also end up with a job reference.
